I'm Martha Argelia.  I create most of the artwork and write most of the stories you see here on MarthaArgelia.com. 

 

I'm a Dominican-American native New Yorker. Growing up, I was surrounded by the vibrant energy of art, food, music, and storytelling. These elements continue to be my deepest source of inspiration.

I was the founder and editor of lifestyle blog, Lela Luxe. After it became syndicated to Tyra Banks' TypeF.com, contributed to various national publications such as Haute Living Magazine, The HBO Blog, El Diario NYC, and several others.

Now, I'm back to writing on my terms.
